Plans and credits

Work in Dlubal CALC is paid for with credits. Every plan comes with a monthly allowance, and actions draw from it. Nothing is charged per minute or per seat-hour.

Note what this page is: the configuration Dlubal CALC ships with. Your account can be configured differently, and the running system is the authority. If a number here disagrees with what you see in your own usage page, the usage page is right.

Example: you ask for a beam design, Mia searches the knowledge base once, and you export the result as a PDF. That is one Standard message (1), one knowledge search (1) and one report (2), so 4 credits. On the Free plan's 30 monthly credits that is roughly seven such tasks.

A geo data lookup is billed once per chat turn, no matter how many of the underlying lookups (snow, wind, seismic, climate, altitude) fire for it.

When a message costs more than the table says

A chat message costs a flat credit regardless of length, with one exception: a very large input context adds a surcharge of one credit per further step of input tokens.

The surcharge is keyed to fresh tokens, not to conversation length. A long conversation that stays warm re-sends almost nothing and is not surcharged. What crosses the threshold is a cold turn, or a turn carrying large file attachments.

Example: a thirty-message conversation continued normally costs 1 credit per turn. The same conversation reopened the next day with a 15 MB PDF attached costs more, because the whole context plus the file has to be sent fresh.

Running out

When your credits are gone, chat stops until the next monthly refill or until you buy a credit pack. Buying packs requires a paid plan; the Free plan cannot purchase them.

Your current balance and the ledger behind it are on your usage page, itemised by action, so a surprising month can be traced to the actions that caused it.
