Plans and credits
Work in Dlubal CALC is paid for with credits. Every plan comes with a monthly allowance, and actions draw from it. Chat messages have fixed credit prices; Voice follows the reported usage of the selected provider.
Note what this page is: the configuration Dlubal CALC ships with. Your account can be configured differently, and the running system is the authority. If a number here disagrees with what you see in your own usage page, the usage page is right.

RFEM access is on every plan, Free included. It is not an upgrade. What Free does not include is PDF report generation or the Voice Agent, the spoken interface to Mia.

Example: you ask for a beam design and Mia searches the knowledge base while answering. That is one Standard message (1 credit). If you explicitly export the result as a PDF, the report adds 2 credits, bringing the total to 3 credits.
A geo data lookup is billed once per chat turn, no matter how many of the underlying lookups (snow, wind, seismic, climate, altitude) fire for it.
Fixed chat pricing
A Standard chat message always costs 1 credit and a High chat message always costs 2 credits. Input-token count, context size, cache state and attachments do not change that price. A long conversation and the same conversation reopened with a large file therefore have the same chat-tier price.
RFEM, RSTAB and RSECTION add 3 credits once per request, regardless of the number of script calls. Only changing or calculating a model is charged; scripts that merely read it are free. Required clarifications, approvals and retries are included: at most 4 credits with Standard or 5 with High. Paid extras such as PDF reports are quoted and approved separately. The answer shows settled and still-reserved credits. If Mia gives up on a request without a result, for example because the round limit is reached, nothing is charged, including the RFEM fee. If you stop it yourself, the chat price is dropped; RFEM changes that already ran stay charged. Voice usage is charged as described below.
Voice Agent
Voice uses the same credit balance as chat. By default, one credit corresponds to USD 0.02 of attributed provider cost. Usage is billed in hundredths of a credit, with no fixed per-minute price shared by all providers. Unattributed tokens are not charged to you. CALC tasks started through Voice carry their normal chat charges in addition.
Gemini accounts for attributable audio and text tokens. OpenAI GPT-Live accounts for reported session duration, including pauses, and token usage by Luna, the voice coordination model. Substantive CALC answers retain their Standard/High chat charges.
One credit is reserved at the start. This is not a minimum fee: unused portions are released at the end. If the balance is too low to continue, the voice connection ends. Changing form values by voice does not automatically submit the form.
By default, inactivity triggers a warning after 45 seconds and disconnects after 60 seconds. Replies and running CALC tasks receive bounded exceptions. A voice session lasts at most 30 minutes. Administrators can change the tariff and limits.
Running out
When your credits are gone, chat stops until the next monthly refill or until you buy a credit pack. Buying packs requires a paid plan; the Free plan cannot purchase them.
Emails when your credits run out are enabled by default for new and existing accounts. Previously saved opt-outs are preserved. If your balance stays empty, a message is sent no earlier than one hour later, at most once per credit period. It includes your next refill date and links to suitable plans or credit packs. “Open CALC” takes you directly back to the application. You can turn these emails off again at any time on your billing page.
For a shared team balance (Professional or Enterprise), the team owner and the team administrators receive this message, unless they have disabled the setting. They can buy credits for the shared pool. Purchased team credits carry over when the monthly allowance renews.
Your current balance and the ledger behind it are on your usage page, itemised by action, so a surprising month can be traced to the actions that caused it.
