Does this skill run a calculation or a design check?

No. It only reads the model's existing definition. Use 000004-rfem-model-analyze to calculate the model or 000005-rfem-model-design for design checks and utilisations.

What happens if no RFEM model is open?

The skill reports that no connected model was found and points to the Dlubal Connector setup instead of guessing at model content.
