The short answer
CALC runs in the browser and needs no installation. We develop and test it with Google Chrome. Other current browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Safari, usually work as well; if something does not work as expected, try Chrome. There is no app for iPhone, iPad, or Android. To connect CALC to RFEM 6, RSTAB 9, or RSECTION, the program and the Dlubal-Connector must run on a Windows computer.
Browser
Use a current version of your browser. In Chrome and Edge, you can also install CALC as an app from the address bar; it then opens in its own window.
Connecting RFEM in the browser
CALC reaches RFEM through the Dlubal-Connector on your computer. Chrome 142 and later ask whether calc.dlubal.com may access your local network. Allow “Local network access” for the site, otherwise CALC cannot reach the Dlubal-Connector.
The connection guide explains the setup step by step and what to do when the browser blocks the connection.
Phone and tablet
There is no native app for iPhone, iPad, or Android, and none is planned at the moment. You can open CALC in the browser of a tablet or phone. For longer work and for the connection to RFEM, a computer is the better choice.
